Flights of Fancy

Hi friends.  Have you read a little relish?  I stumbled across this e-zine a few days ago and just today had the chance to fully absorb/fall in love with it.  Lets just say that I am planning a little trip to Montreal for the next long weekend.  What a little treat.

Tunes

Fitz and the Tantrums just makes me want to dance.  You can never have too few go-tos that can so quickly get you in that mood.  With that in mind I thought I would share.

Saw them live this week at some event and they were better then you could imagine.

They are playing NYE in nyc too which is making it very easy for me to align on plans.

Love it A Lot

Went to the Brooklyn Flea today to find some goodies for my pal Sarah's new apt in cobble hill.  one of the purchases was a pint from Claudia Pearson.

As soon as I grow up and get an apt with a real kitchen I am hanging many of these beauties on the wall.

If you can't ever make it to the flea you are in luck! her work can also be found and purchased on Etsy.  Enjoy kiddalous.

In the Kitchen

After an unseasonably hot and rainy September, NYC is finally getting the Fall weather that I know and love.  One of the many things Fall means to me is the return of things that keep you warm...weather that be cozy sweaters and wool tights or soups and stews made with seasonal ingredients.  Tonight I am going to indludge in the later.

I am making Tartelette's Butternut and Acorn Squash Soup which looks so good, and, so easy!

Love it A Lot

Custom Stamps

I have been trying to make over my desk at work for a while now but after a disheartening trip to target’s back to school section [It seems that I have outgrown Lisa Frank] my enthusiasm has waned.

Good news is I just found Follow Studio and even better new is that they recently launched their paper goods and supply shop.  With the help of their finely curated e-shop I am well on way to a freshened and much lovelier desk.
